How to install an eSIM ?
- Ensure a Stable Internet Connection: Before you begin, connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network to ensure a smooth installation.
- Open Settings: On your device, go to the main Settings menu.
- Find SIM or Mobile Data:
- iPhone: Go to Mobile Service (or Cellular) and then select Add eSIM.
- Android: Look for Connections or Network & Internet, then tap on SIM manager or Mobile Networks.
- iPhone: Go to Mobile Service (or Cellular) and then select Add eSIM.
- Initiate Adding a New eSIM: Tap on an option like Add eSIM, Add Mobile Plan, or the + icon.
- Choose Your Installation Method:
- Scan QR Code: Select the option to scan the QR code from your carrier. The camera will activate to scan the code.
- Use Saved QR Code (Android): If you have a saved screenshot or image of the QR code, choose to use the saved QR code from your Gallery.
- Enter Activation Code Manually (iPhone): If you don't have a QR code, select the option to enter the code manually. You'll need the SMDP+ address and activation code from your carrier.
- Scan QR Code: Select the option to scan the QR code from your carrier. The camera will activate to scan the code.
- Follow On-Screen Prompts: Complete any remaining steps, which may include verification or confirmation with your network provider.
- Finish Setup: Once the installation is complete, your new eSIM will be activated and ready to use.
